Auntie Wendy
I love having Auntie Wendy around. Everyday, i’m learning new recipes and kitchen tips from her. And this is from a lady who managed to cook 500 people a 4th of July dinner with only 2 days notice, in a spanish speaking country. I’m going to miss her when she leaves
She’s such a wonderful person to be around with.
Time for bed, early start tomorrow morning.

Got me thinking of all the great aunties and their wicked dishes… not forgetting the loud family gatherings. The great migration trend brought everyone everywhere…. sigh !! If only I can turn back time and experience all that .. just for a day.
my my.. i wish i could be there to pick up a few tips from your aunt too!!! and yeah.. i am most willing to be a guinea pig :p
If i cook for 500 people i’m going to send them all to the latrine lol.
IwantaTibike: the house was so lively with her (her loud laughter filled the house) and with 14 uncle and aunties on my mother’s side (minus their spouses), it’s very hard to get the whole family together.
ginA: I’ll share some tips on the blog soon
Kuen: 500 is alot of people…that calls for great time management and logistics control man!
I want to hear that story about auntie Wendy. We will be spending Christmas with her and Cynthia, will have to ask her then.
