Send me to the FIFA World Cup 2010

April 1st, 2010

Two days ago I blogged a football story for a Sony Ericsson contest just for kicks! And I received an email this afternoon that my story has been short listed in the Top 20.

Please help to win me those tickets to South Africa.

Sony Ericsson Contest

Please go HERE and look for my story: “Watching Football live at 11yrs Old” and click the “thumbs up” once a day everyday until the 15th April 2010!

Now initially I thought I should also ask people to “unlike” the person other than me with the most votes, but I think I will just leave it up to your discretion whether or not you want to do that.

Please spread the word and help me win! Here’s the permalink to this post: http://blog.angelaleowgray.com/2010/04/01/send-me-to-the-fifa-world-cup-2010/

Friends with blogs, appreciate you helping repost this as well!

Now here’s the fun part, what’s the point in voting if there isn’t an incentive. I’m trying to think of something which will make you vote for me. Example, if I win, I will watch the match in a chicken suit or in a wonder woman outfit? So…while you give me a day to think about that, please feel free to send in your suggestion! I will post up the final decision this weekend :D

In the meantime, please start voting!

    That was a funny one! great it got shortlisted! Thanks for the memories again! I will always remember the electric feeling watching Singapore play in those days with all the noise and curses (how fab is that?) – everyone was cussing, but more in good fun – the language of support!!! Hope you win those world cup tickets! That one’s a great one to be there too! But actually, i liked the kampung spirit of those Kallang days better!

    Hey Alfie, thanks for dropping a comment. I miss the malaysia cup days too! There was just such much patriotic spirit back then.

    @Yancy
    It’s looking grim, other participants have strong votes :(

    aiyaah. don’t be so hard on yourself bubs. honestly this is the first time i’m reading you blog about football. didn’t even know you are fan!! i know Wayne supports liverpool FC in the EPL from your fotos. but i didn’t think you followed football in a big way. soooo its not a fair fight lah. most of those other buggers in the comp are football fanatics. one guy even runs a football blog. its pretty cool you gave them a run for their money for what it’s worth!!

    Good luck, but if you don’t win (not that I’m cursing you or anything) – I have tickets to the 2nd round, 3rd/4th and FINAL itself :)
